Injury Prevention

Injury Prevention is an under recognized component of sports performance. Typically, consult is only sought after an injury or when your pain is so debilitating it’s impacting your ability to perform. Why not work to make your body strong and prevent these injuries from occurring in the first place? This is a much more efficient method in optimizing sports performance, staying injury free, and improving longevity in your sport. We offer injury prevention screens in order to assess your overall injury risk as well as prevention programs to address any underlying impairments you may have.

Running Gait Analysis

We use slow motion video analysis to assess your running technique through observation of markers such as your stride length, foot contact, cadence, and different joint angles. We can use this information in order to address how your mechanics may influence current or chronic injuries. This is valuable in order to implement key changes to reduce your injury rate and improve efficiency through your training cycles.

Lactate Threshold Testing

Your Lactate Threshold determines the upper limit of sustainable training intensity. These results can tell you the pace you are capable of maintaining and be utilized to direct and enhance your training program. This is the best indicator of true fitness levels. You can use this test to adapt your workouts, elevate your performance threshold, and improve your PR’s.
